Calculation of the centre of gravity of the cone utilizing the method of Archimedes [PDF]
Archimedes calculated the centre of gravity of the cone but the proof of this theorem is not extant in his works. Knorr made a reconstruction of this proof utilizing geometrical arguments.

Occurrence of Flat‐Top Electron Velocity Distributions in Magnetotail Plasma Jets
Abstract Non‐Maxwellian electron velocity distributions (eVDFs) are ubiquitous in collisionless plasmas. For example, various types of non‐Maxwellian eVDFs exist in magnetic reconnection jets in the Earth's magnetotail. At thermal energies, eVDF can be flat‐topped due to electron trapping associated with magnetic reconnection.

Additive Manufacturing of Ni‐Based Thermoelectric Materials for Waste Heat Recovery
Thermoelectric generators convert waste heat into electricity but are constrained by conventional fabrication. Here, laser powder bed fusion enables direct printing of customised n‐type Cu60Ni40 and p‐type Ni90Cr10 legs. The assembled module achieves 0.8% efficiency at ΔT = 419 K, demonstrating scalable additive manufacturing of eco‐friendly, design ...

Wireless Sensor Node for Surface Seawater Density Measurements
An electronic meter to measure surface seawater density is presented. It is based on the measurement of the difference in displacements of a surface level probe and a weighted float, which according to Archimedes’ law depends on the density of the water.

Particle‐Size‐Dependent Lithium‐Ion Transport in PEO/LLZO Composite Electrolytes
A continuum modeling framework quantifies the critical polymer/ceramic interfacial resistance required for ceramic fillers to reduce polarization in PEO/LLZO composite electrolytes. The model shows that this threshold scales linearly with LLZO particle size, while remaining largely insensitive to ceramic loading.
