Forward‐Biased Perovskite Photodiodes for In‐Sensor Optical Change Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A forward‐biased perovskite photodiode is introduced as an in‐sensor analog preprocessing unit that uses current balancing between photocurrent and injection current to generate optical changes relative to programmable optical reference levels. The device directly converts reference‐relative optical changes into bipolar current signals, enabling sensor‐

Validation of Architectural Requirements for Tackling Cloud Computing Barriers: Cloud Provider Perspective

open access: yesProcedia Computer Science, 2021
Although researchers and organisations have recognised cloud computing obstacles in the prior cloud adoption stage, few efforts have been made to investigate and address cloud barriers in depth during cloud implementation projects.

E‐government adoption: architecture and barriers

Business Process Management Journal, 2005
PurposeTo provide an integrated architecture framework for e‐government that represents the alignment of IT infrastructure with business process management in public sector organisations and classify the barriers that might complicate the implementation of the proposed architecture framework.

Architecture and Function of the Gastroesophageal Barrier in the Piglet

Digestive Diseases and Sciences, 2001
We describe the anatomy and function of the gastroesophageal barrier in the piglet. Male piglets underwent dissection (N = 6) and gastroesophageal muscle layer histometry (N = 6). Sedated, nonintubated animals (N = 13) underwent four-probe perfusion esophageal manometry and the pressure profiles were related to the muscular thickness in the four ...

Identifying, Removing Architectural Barriers

NASSP Bulletin, 1980
Complying with federal regulations concerning equal ducational opportunities for the handicapped can be a complicated and expensive proposition. This author suggests that use of local school personnel and students is an economical approach to meeting such regulations.

A fine-grain parallel architecture based on barrier synchronization

Proceedings of the 1996 ICPP Workshop on Challenges for Parallel Processing, 2002
Although barrier synchronization has long been considered a useful construct for parallel programming, it has generally been either layered on top of a communication system or used as a completely independent mechanism. Instead, we propose that all communication be made a side-effect of barrier synchronization.

Architectural Barriers to Persons With Disabilities in Businesses in an Urban Community

Journal of Burn Care & Rehabilitation, 1994
It is the purpose of this study to determine the frequency of architectural barriers to persons with disabilities in businesses in a small urban community in central Virginia. The survey was conducted by a trained volunteer using a one-page checklist. Only 27% of the businesses had no architectural barriers to individuals with disabilities.

Muscular Architecture and Manometric Image of Gastroesophageal Barrier in the Rat

Digestive Diseases and Sciences, 1999
The two components of the gastroesophageal barrier, the sphincter and the crural sling, closely overlap in humans, whereas they are widely separated in the rat. This investigation correlates the anatomical components of the barrier and their manometric counterparts in this animal.
