Stress–Strain Relationship for Steel Bars at Elevated Temperatures
The stress–strain relationship of steel bars is fundamental for the fire safety assessment of reinforced concrete structures. This study investigated the mechanical properties of hot-rolled ribbed steel bars at elevated temperatures through tensile tests.

Evolution of Islamic Geometrical Patterns [PDF]
Although Islam gives function and not form,Islam as a context has affects on forms and ornaments in somewhat. The great role ofgeometry in Islamic architecture due to restriction of using natural figures is an example.

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Bio‐Inspired Synthesis of Macroporous Single Crystal Particles as Scattering Agents
A general strategy is presented that delivers unique, single‐crystal microparticles that combine submicron macroporosity and uniform particle shapes. A bioinspired approach is used to occlude three distinct types of additives – polystyrene microspheres, polymer vesicles and amino acids – within calcite single crystals, and subsequent thermal annealing ...

Research on Decorative Effect of Architectural Decoration Materials [PDF]
In modern architecture, architectural decoration occupies an important role; it is no exaggeration to say, if a construction project is seen as a long-distance running, building decoration is part of the race last one hundred meters. Its success or failure is related to the success or failure of the whole building. In the process of building decoration,

Shaping Matter with Acoustic Waves: From Particles to Functional Structures
Acoustic‐directed assembly is reviewed as a materials‐oriented strategy for organizing particles, polymers, metals, and biological systems into functional structures. The review distinguishes reversible manipulation from permanent structure formation through medium fixation, particle fixation, and in situ material generation, highlighting routes toward

Characterisation of the Cinnamomum parthenoxylon (Jack) Meisn (Lauraceae) transcriptome using Illumina paired-end sequencing and EST-SSR markers development for population genetics [PDF]
Cinnamomum parthenoxylon is an endemic and endangered species with significant economic and ecological value in Vietnam. A better understanding of the genetic architecture of the species will be useful when planning management and conservation.
