Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Evaluating relationships between hand-drawing ability and design performance: Case of Architecture Study Program UGM

open access: yesARTEKS : Jurnal Teknik Arsitektur
The importance of drawing is among the most common discourses in architectural practice and education. Current research investigating the relation between drawing ability and architecture students’ study performance give various results, indicating that ...

Drawing, Scripting, Prompting. A Critical Approach from Architectural Graphics

open access: yesDiségno, 2023
In recent years, architecture has undergone a significant transformation with the introduction of digital tools and techniques. Three prominent techniques in this context are drawing, scripting, and prompting, offering architects novel approaches to the

Drawing as Architecture: Representational Space Architecturally Transformed [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This project was motivated by the premise that a drawing could take on architectural meaning beyond its initial performance as a re-presentation of an architectural idea; in other words, the motivation was to create a drawing that was architecture.

The role of virtual reality in built environment education [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This study builds upon previous research on the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) within the built environment curriculum and aims to investigate the role of VR and three-dimensional (3D) computer modelling on learning and teaching in a school of the ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Architecture as drawing: representational space architecturally transformed [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis project was motivated by the premise that a drawing could take on architectural meaning beyond its initial performance as a re-presentation of an architectural idea. Initially, there existed the goal to create a drawing that was architecture.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
