Who uses the digital data archive? An exploratory study of DANS

open access: yes
Surprisingly little is known about the uses and users of digital data archives, about relationships between users and the staff of data archives, or how these behaviors vary by discipline, geographic region, policy, and other factors. Digital data archives are not a single type of institution - they vary widely in organizational structure, mission ...

The Mitogen‐Activated Protein Kinase GhNTF3 Modulates the Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Symbiosis‐Immunity Trade‐Off in Cotton by Regulating Salicylic Acid Biosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AM symbiosis induces GhWAK13 to promote fungal colonization. GhNTF3 negatively regulates symbiosis by promoting SA biosynthesis. GhWAK13 sequesters GhNTF3 at the membrane, limiting its nuclear translocation and relieving SA‐mediated suppression. Under Verticillium stress, GhNTF3 enters the nucleus and interacts with GhJAZ6 to activate SA signaling ...

Users and uses of a digital data archive: A case study of DANS

open access: yes, 2017
As open access to research data becomes a requirement of funding agencies and journals, digital data archives are the preferred mechanisms for data sharing and reuse. While institutional policies support data sharing, surprisingly little is known about the uses and users of digital data archives, and about the relationships between users and the staff ...

A Synthetic Platform for Antibody Junctional Diversification Beyond Natural Constraints

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ARESEC is a synthetic platform that reconstructs functional V(D)J recombination in HEK293T cells. By introducing RSS elements and co‐expressing RAG1/2 and TdT across all three antibody CDRs, it enables programmable junctional diversification and direct generation of high‐affinity variants targeting PD‐1/PD‐L1, overcoming the evolutionary constraints of

CHST1 Drives Immunotherapy Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer by Orchestrating an Immunosuppressive Microenvironment via the NKRF–CCL20–Macrophage Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Proposed model of CHST1‐associated immune remodeling in triple‐negative breast cancer. In CHST1‐low tumors, greater nuclear accumulation of NKRF is associated with repression of an NF‐κB‐related CCL20 transcriptional program and an immune‐inflamed microenvironment.

Macrophage PABPC4‐SPP1 Axis Orchestrates Immunosuppression in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the CRC microenvironment, macrophage PABPC4 binds to the 3′UTR of SPP1 mRNA to stabilize its expression, thereby sustaining M2‐like immunosuppressive macrophage polarization. Concurrently, this axis suppresses CD8+ T cell effector functions via CD44 signaling, collectively fostering an immunosuppressive niche that drives tumor progression.
