Arc penetration to the arc chute and arc chute plates erosion
Electrical Contacts - 1996. Proceedings of the Forty-Second IEEE Holm Conference on Electrical Contacts. Joint with the 18th International Conference on Electrical Contacts, 2002In a recent paper the problems of arc quenching in arc chute were discussed. It is shown that arc lifetime essentially depends on method of arc introduction to the arc chute, since the arc tries repelling from the edges of plates conditioned by electrical forces side by side with attraction from magnetic forces if the plates are ferromagnetic.

Primitive magma has been found to finally solidify as a granitic pluton after transformation to dacitic magma of a chemical composition identical to the composition of the upper continental crust. This granitic pluton and the associated cumulate also have been found to form the two-layered continental crust.

An arc is a set of points of the \((k-1)\)-dimensional projective space over the finite field with q elements \({\mathbb F}_q\), in which every k-subset spans the space. In this article, we firstly review Glynn’s construction of large arcs which are contained in the intersection of quadrics. Then, for q odd, we construct a series of matrices \(\mathrm {
