ARENS REGULARITY OF MODULE ACTIONS AND THE SECOND ADJOINT OF A DERIVATION [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper, we give a simple criterion for the Arens regularity of a bilinear mapping on normed spaces, which applies in particular to Banach module actions, and then investigate those conditions under which the second adjoint of a derivation into a dual Banach module is again a derivation.

ABSTRACT Focused Question What is the clinical periodontal condition of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) as compared to those without DM (NDM) as gathered from existing systematic reviews (SRs)? Methods MEDLINE‐PubMed and the Cochrane Library were searched from inception through September 2024 to identify eligible studies.

Arens regularity of lattice-ordered rings [PDF]
This work discusses the problem of Arens regularity of a lattice-ordered ring. In this prospect, a counterexample is furnished to show that without extra conditions, a lattice-ordered ring need not be Arens regular. However, as shown in this paper, it turns out that any f

Relating Monthly to Yearly Morphological Changes in Embryonic Coastal Dune Systems
Abstract Embryonic coastal dunes are dynamic morphological features shaped by wind, waves, sediment availability, and vegetation. Temporal variability in these drivers controls embryo dune dynamics at short timescales (hours–days), while accreting dune systems often show gradual change over longer timescales (years–decades).

Some notes for topological centers on the duals of Banach algebras [PDF]
We introduce the weak topological centers of left and right module actions and we study some of their properties. We investigate the relationship between these new concepts and the topological centers of of left and right module actions with some ...

Let \(E\), \(X\) and \(A\) be, in order, a compact space, a reflexive Banach space and a Banach algebra. Denote by \(C(E,A)\) the Banach algebra of continuous functions \(\phi: E\to A\) equipped with the supremum norm and by \(K(X)\) the operator algebra consisting of compact linear operators \(u: X\to X\). Call a bounded bilinear operator \(m:A \times

‘From the Fields Into the Bars’: The Story of Israel's First Transgender Novel, The Cut (1977)
ABSTRACT In 1977, an Israeli transgender woman, Judy Spotheim, published an autobiographical novel entitled The Cut. It describes the emergence of a trans community in the commercial‐sex areas of Tel Aviv‐Jaffa, hoping to humanise trans women (coccinelles). This article is the first to study the novel and present a biography of Spotheim.

ABSTRACT Background Professional ballet dancers are exposed to substantial repetitive loading of the lower extremities particularly the feet. The aesthetic and technical demands of ballet may lead to morphological adaptations overtime. This study aimed to compare static and dynamic foot characteristics between professional dancers and active controls ...
