Dual‐Network Protein Hydrogels Promote Rapid Hemostasis and Immune‐Regulated Scarless Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐network protein hydrogel substantially improves hemostasis and scar‐free healing. The adaptive network maintains intimate tissue contact while providing strong wet adhesion, tunable mechanics, and controlled degradation. Concurrent ROS scavenging and M2 polarization suppress fibrotic pathways, preventing scar formation.

Dual Physiological Barriers Bypassed by a Silk‐Based Supramolecular Protein Delivery Platform for Neuroinflammation Mitigation in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A supramolecular nanocomplex based on phenolic‐modified silk sericin is developed to deliver antioxidant enzymes across the blood–brain barrier and escape lysosomal degradation. This dual‐barrier‐crossing system reduces neuroinflammation and improves cognitive performance in Alzheimer's disease mouse model, offering a promising strategy for protein ...

QUATERNARY LIMNOCYTHERE (LIMNOCYTHERIDAE) FROM ARGENTINA, SOUTH AMERICA: SPECIES DIVERSITY AND APPLICATION TO PALEOENVIRONMENTAL/BIOGEOGRAPHICAL RECONSTRUCTIONS

open access: yesPublicación Electrónica de la Asociación Paleontológica Argentina
Non-marine ostracods are environmental proxies widely used in Quaternary environmental and climatic reconstructions. In South America (Neotropical Region), extant Limnocytheridae is the third most diverse family, with Limnocythere species typically ...

Ultrabroadband and Highly Sensitive Short‐Wave Infrared Molecular Fingerprinting via Acoustic MXene Plasmons

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acoustic plasmons in Ti3C2Tx MXene strongly compress infrared electromagnetic fields and enhance light–matter interactions at the nanoscale. This platform couples broadband plasmon excitations with molecular vibrations, enabling simultaneous sensing of high‐ and low‐frequency vibrational modes in ultrathin PMMA and graphene oxide films, and extending ...

NET‐DNA Activates the ANXA2/TMEM215/BiP Axis to Promote Mitophagy‐Mediated Anoikis Resistance in Endometriosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NET‐DNA is enriched during early endometriotic lesion establishment and drives anoikis resistance by promoting an ANXA2–TMEM215–BiP axis. This pathway strengthens ER–mitochondria contacts, enhances PINK1/Parkin‐associated mitophagy, preserves mitochondrial homeostasis, and supports ectopic stromal cell survival, thereby facilitating lesion persistence ...

Aptamer‐Directed Porous DNA Nanocomposite Hydrogel for Active Pulp Preservation: Immunomodulation, Stem Cell Recruitment and Reparative Dentinogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an injectable DNA‐based porous hydrogel integrating catechol motifs and targeting aptamers for pulpitis management. Upon in situ crosslinking, the scaffold actively recruits endogenous dental pulp stem cells, restores redox homeostasis, and modulates immune responses.

Investigating the Interplay of Permeability and Roughness on Patchy Vegetated Hillslopes in Silico

open access: yesARC Geophysical Research
On hillslopes with patchy vegetation cover, vegetation is a significant factor controlling surface hydraulic and hydrological properties. Soil permeability is often greater within vegetated areas than in surrounding bare soil areas, leading to the ...
