Temperature and Rainfall Shape the Breeding Ecology of Barn Swallows <i>Hirundo rustica</i> in an Arid Region. [PDF]

Here, we show that the breeding ecology of Barn Swallows Hirundo rustica in an arid region in northern Algeria is strongly influenced by temperature and precipitation. These effects were apparent in terms of the duration of the breeding stage and on breeding fitness.
