Thermodynamics of liquid argon + nitrogen and argon + methane
The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1977Abstract The enthalpies of mixing of argon + nitrogen and argon + methane reported previously are used to obtain equations for the excess Gibbs free energies of these mixtures. Values of the pressure dependence of the enthalpy of mixing are reported, and are used to confirm and extend literature values of the excess volumes of the mixtures.

Computer simulation of liquid argon and water has shown that the structural inhomogeneity pattern visualized by coloring their instantaneous structures according to the volumes of the Voronoi polyhedra is the same for both liquids. The dynamics of argon atoms in the cavity of a clathrate hydrate and in liquid water is considered.
