Achieving impact: impact evaluations and narrative simplification
This study is concerned with how impact from research and innovation (R&I) programmes is accounted for in impact evaluation reports. Establishing causal links between a research funding instrument and different effects, poses well known methodological ...

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

Notes on East Asian Argument Ellipsis [PDF]
This paper presents further supporting evidence for argument ellipsis in East Asian languages, and explores its theoretical consequences. It is demonstrated in the first part that argument ellipsis is attested in a wide range of phenomena.

Ellipsis Constructions in Ukrainian : A Verbal Complex Perspective [PDF]
This study explores the structure of Ukrainian verbal complex and elliptical constructions, specifically object gapping (OG) constructions. Building on the previous research on the topic of OG constructions (Gribanova (2013), Baylin (2017), Landau (2020))

Full Vectorial Field Sensing Using Liquid Crystal Droplet Arrays
An inkjet‐printed liquid crystal droplet array enables compact, low‐cost, single‐shot sensing of the full vectorial light field. Within a single platform, it simultaneously retrieves intensity, polarization, and phase, while dual‐wavelength operation highlights its capability for multi‐wavelength optical field characterization. ABSTRACT Determining the

Null Bare Singular Subjects in Brazilian Portuguese: Topic Drop, not Argument Ellipsis
Brazilian Portuguese allows argument drop of bare singular subjects, a fact that has previously gone unobserved. This squib examines the status of argument-dropped bare singular subjects.

Children develop causatives despite pervasive ellipsis: Evidence from Turkish
Children use causative verbs in language to express causality. The learning of causatives relies on cues in children's interaction with caregivers. Argument structure has been widely posited as a facilitative cue for learning causatives.

Large size (∼100 µm) monolayer MoS2 grown by LPI‐CVD on n‐GaN exhibit a high n‐type doping, very low strain, and a type‐I band alignment at MoS2/GaN interface. Photocurrent measurements under illumination with photon energies from ∼2 to ∼5 eV show superior electro‐optical performances of these MoS2/n‐GaN heterojunctions as compared to Ni/n‐GaN devices ...

A flexible pressure sensor utilizing a 3D dual‐pore polyurethane structure is developed to overcome the intrinsic trade‐off between sensitivity and linearity. By inducing sequential buckling through distinct pore sizes and shapes, the device achieves highly linear and sensitive responses across a wide pressure range.
