Arianism

Arianism has been used as a term to designate theological beliefs attributed to Arius (c.250-336 CE), a Christian priest from Alexandria. Arius' written works survive only in fragments, making it difficult to reconstruct his beliefs. This is only complicated by countless attempts made by Arius' opponents to distort and ridicule his theological views.
