Hierarchical Ordering Induced Ultrahigh Cryogenic Strength and Strain Hardening in a Ni2CoFeV Medium‐Entropy Alloy

A tri‐phase Ni2CoFeV medium‐entropy alloy with fcc, κ, and L12 phases achieves exceptional cryogenic strength‐ductility synergy at 77 K. It delivers a yield strength of 1.4 GPa, an ultimate tensile strength of 2.07 GPa and a tensile ductility of 28%.

A High‐Entropy Strategy for Chemoresistive Ethanol Sensors With Remarkably Rapid and Selective Response

The configurational‐entropy strategy enables rapid and sensitive ethanol detection using a multicomponent oxide. The high‐entropy (InSnFeZnW)Ox provides enriched oxygen vacancies and diverse adsorption sites that strengthen surface reactivity. The sensor achieves a 5135% ethanol response with fast kinetics and stable long‐term operation.

The integration of rare‐metal neodymium centers to engineer Lewis acid sites with nickel centers is proposed as highly efficient UOR catalysts. ABSTRACT The sluggish kinetics of the urea oxidation reaction (UOR) are strongly associated with the high energy barriers required for the C‐N cleavage and N‐N coupling steps.
