Bubbles Acting as Micro End‐Effectors for Dexterous Manipulation and Sensing in Aqueous Environment
Inspired by bubbles, this article proposes a low‐cost method for multifunctional manipulation and sensing using microbubbles in aqueous environments. Bubbles are easily generated in situ, enabling the safe and adaptive handling of microobjects and sensing of microforces and surface textures.

Arithmetic, geometric, and harmonic means for accretive-dissipative matrices
The concept of Loewner (partial) order for general complex matrices is introduced. After giving the definition of arithmetic, geometric, and harmonic mean for accretive-dissipative matrices, we study their basic properties.

Memory‐Reduced Convolutional Neural Network for Fast Phase Hologram Generation
This article reports a lightweight convolutional neural network framework using INT8 quantization to efficiently generate 3D computer‐generated holograms from a single 2D image. The quantized model reduces memory usage and computational cost, accelerates inference speed, and maintains high output quality, enabling real‐time holographic display on low ...

Estimation of finite population variance using auxiliary information in sample surveys
This paper addresses the problem of estimating the finite population variance using auxiliary information in sample surveys. Motivated by (Singh and Vishwakarma, 2009) some estimators of finite population variance have been suggested along with their ...

On J.M. Keynes' The principal averages and the laws of error which lead to them: refinement and generalisation [PDF]
Keynes (1911) derived general forms of probability density functions for which the “most probable value” is given by the arithmetic mean, the geometric mean, the harmonic mean, or the median.

Application of Differential Subordinations to the Arithmetic–Geometric Means by Using an Operator
This study investigates differential subordination involving arithmetic and geometric mean approaches associated with a previously introduced operator. While earlier studies considered cases where the dominant function was convex or linear, the present ...

Cardiovascular diseases are leading death causes; electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis is slow, motivating machine learning and deep learning. This study compares deep convolutional generative adversarial network, conditional GAN, and Wasserstein GAN with gradient penalty (WGAN‐GP) for synthetic ECG spectrograms; Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) and ...

Applications of Arithmetic Geometric Mean Inequality
The well-known arithmetic-geometric mean inequality for singular values, due to Bhatia and Kittaneh, is one of the most important singular value inequalities for compact operators. The purpose of this study is to give new singular value inequalities for compact operators and prove that these inequalities are equivalent to arithmetic-geometric mean ...
