Unveiling the Impact of C60–O2 Interaction on the Performance and Characterization of Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Air exposure of the C60 electron‐transport layer (ETL) in p‐i‐n perovskite solar cells causes rapid O2 intercalation, forming deep trap states and altering charge carrier balance at the perovskite/ETL interface, thereby increasing non‐radiative recombination.

Transductions in arithmetic

open access: yesAnnals of Pure and Applied Logic, 2016
In this paper we study a new relation between sentences: transducibility. The idea of transducibility is based on an analysis of Feferman's Theorem that the inconsistency of a theory U is interpretable over U. Transducibility is based on a converse of Feferman's Theorem: if a sentence is interpretable over a theory U, it is, in a sense that we will ...

Increasing sedentary time, minimum dietary energy requirements, and food security assessment

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
Abstract We compute corrections for sedentary behavior in physical activity levels (PALs) and incorporate them along with corrections for over estimation of basal metabolic rates (BMRs) into threshold caloric intakes, known as minimum dietary energy requirements (MDERs).

Wine Tourism as a Catalyst for Sustainable Performance: The Mediating Role of Corporate Legitimacy and Green Innovation

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study aims to explore the influence of Wine Tourism (WT) on the Sustainable Performance (SP) of wineries in Spain. It particularly investigates how Corporate Social Legitimacy (CSL) and Green Innovation (GI) may act as intermediary factors in this relationship.

Do Sustainable Agricultural Practices Boost Production and Technical Efficiency? A Case Study of Coffee Smallholders in Peru

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Smallholder agriculture remains a cornerstone for economic development and poverty reduction in Latin America. Their transition to sustainable agricultural production is critical in the face of the environmental challenges posed by conventional farming practices and is a key pathway to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development ...

An Arithmetic Metric

open access: yesThe College Mathematics Journal, 2011
What is the distance between 11 (a prime number) and 12 (a highly composite number)? If your answer is 1, then ask yourself "is this reasonable?" In this work, we will introduce a distance between natural numbers based on their arithmetic properties, instead of their position on the real line.

Multiresponsive Color‐Tunable Phosphorescence With Matrix‐Confined Clusters

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
The molecule with cluster‐triggered emission mechanisms is embedded in polymer matrix, the phosphorescence properties of multiclusters are size‐dependent and exhibit different responses to various stimuli, including temperature, concentration, and excitation, which synergistically induce color‐range tunable time‐dependent phosphorescence color behavior.

Well‐Designed Organic Semiconductors With Tunable Resistive Switching Behaviors for Multilevel Storage and Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
A novel strategy is proposed to design and synthesize furan‐annulated naphthalenes for high‐performance memristive behaviors by introducing an electron acceptor (trifluoromethyl) or donor (methoxy). The former, with donor–acceptor pairs, demonstrates high‐performance bipolar digital memristive behaviors with multilevel storage characteristics.
