Advanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.Standardized surface‐independent immobilization of biosensing layers by means of COOH linker‐layer using plasma polymerization under atmospheric pressure conditions, with the potential for commercialization. PMMA is successfully biofunctionalized with streptavidin, IgG, and protein G, showing stable performance for at least one month.

A Wireless Soft Optical Blood Sensor for Colonoscopy
Advanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.This works presents an “add‐on” wireless soft optical blood sensor for the traditional colonoscopy. It can reliably detect bleeding behind the colonoscope's distal tip camera via optical absorption, without optical fibers, and wirelessly transmit data to the processor.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.A healthcare toilet system is introduced to passively measure defecation behavior. Real‐time data on stool dropping duration, thickness, and a newly defined “eu‐tenesmus” interval show correlations with stool form and gender differences. Results from 45 defecation events reveal a promising method for comprehensive defecation analysis.
