Positive degree and arithmetic bigness
We establish, for a generically big Hermitian line bundle, the convergence of truncated Harder-Narasimhan polygons and the uniform continuity of the limit.

Arithmetic Subderivatives and Leibniz-Additive Functions [PDF]
We first introduce the arithmetic subderivative of a positive integer with respect to a non-empty set of primes. This notion generalizes the concepts of the arithmetic derivative and arithmetic partial derivative. More generally, we then define that an arithmetic function $f$ is Leibniz-additive if there is a nonzero-valued and completely ...

A reconfigurable intelligent surface is proposed that can simultaneously anomalously reflect the light and sense the angle of arrival. An in situ optimization of either the currents flowing on array elements or the far field in the receiver direction realizes anomalous reflection and suppresses parasitic scattering.

On some differences between number fields and function fields
The analogy between the arithmetic of varieties over number fields and the arithmetic of varieties over function fields is a leading theme in arithmetic geometry. This analogy is very powerful but there are some gaps.

The theory of differential equations has an arithmetic analogue in which derivatives of functions are replaced by Fermat quotients of numbers. Many classical differential equations (Riccati, Weierstrass, Painlev\'{e}, etc.) were previously shown to possess arithmetic analogues.

Enhancing the Efficiency of Polariton OLEDs in and Beyond the Single‐Excitation Subspace
Organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) are transforming lighting with eco‐friendly manufacturing and flexible applications. However, since 75 % of excited states (triplets) are non‐emissive, recent research has focused on triplet harvesting. This work proposes a predictive polariton‐based model, exploring conditions for OLED enhancement and showing that

Smoking status and cognitive performance among vocational school students in Beijing,China
Background Studies of differences in cognitive function between smokers and non-smokers have yielded inconsistent results. However, most of studies have focused on middle-aged and elderly adults.

Photochromic compounds are versatile ingredients for the development of Chemical AI. When they are embedded in a tight microenvironment, they become Markov blankets. They are also valuable for processing Boolean and Fuzzy logic. They contribute to neuromorphic engineering in wetware based on opto‐chemical signals exchanged with oscillatory chemical ...

Inductive Formulas for some Arithmetic Functions [PDF]
We prove recursive formulas involving sums of divisors and sums of triangular numbers and give a variety of identities relating arithmetic functions to divisor functions providing inductive identities for such arithmetic functions.
