On Mertens-Ces\`aro Theorem for Number Fields

open access: yes, 2015
Let $K$ be a number field with ring of integers $\mathcal O$. After introducing a suitable notion of density for subsets of $\mathcal O$, generalizing that of natural density for subsets of $\mathbb Z$, we show that the density of the set of coprime $m ...

Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

4D Printing of Multimaterial Flexible Magneto‐Active Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Magneto‐active polymers are 3D‐printed with tunable mechanical and magnetic properties using both superparamagnetic and hard ferromagnetic fillers. Nano‐CT imaging reveals the spatial distribution of particles within the matrix. Programmable magnetization patterns and soft, flexible architectures enable responsive actuation, offering exciting ...

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

Multimodal Locomotion in Insect‐Inspired Microrobots: A Review of Strategies for Aerial, Surface, Aquatic, and Interfacial Motion

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This review identifies key design considerations for insect‐inspired microrobots capable of multimodal locomotion. To draw inspiration, biological and robotic strategies for moving in air, on water surfaces, and underwater are examined, along with approaches for crossing the air–water interface.

ARO-quasigroups

open access: yesQuasigroups and related systems, 2010
In this paper the concept of ARO-quasigroup is introduced and some identities which are valid in a general ARO-quasigroup are proved. The "geometric" concepts of midpoint, parallelogram and affine-regular octagon is introduced in a general ARO-quasigroup.

Spectroscopic Evidence of Edge‐Localized States in an Antiferromagnet Topological Insulator NdBi

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using spin‐polarized scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) in conjunction with quasiparticle interference, we successfully identify distinct signatures of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic terminations in NdBi, a rare‐earth monopnictide exhibiting non‐trivial topology and magnetism. We demonstrate that step edges on ferromagnetic surfaces host well‐

Crosstalk in the darkness: bulb vernalization activates meristem transition via circadian rhythm and photoperiodic pathway

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology, 2020
Background Geophytes possess specialized storage organs - bulbs, tubers, corms or rhizomes, which allow their survival during unfovarable periods and provide energy support for sprouting and sexual and vegetative reproduction.

On the convergence of Ces\'aro means of negative order of Vilenkin-Fourier series

open access: yes, 2018
In 1971 Onnewer and Waterman establish sufficient condition which guarantees uniform convergence of Vilenkin-Fourier series of continuous function. In the paper we consider different classes of functions of generalized bounded oscilation and in the terms
