Ground Array Calibration using Lunar InSAR Imagery

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2010
A new technique of phase calibrating the uplink of a ground array consisting of large reflector antennas is studied. The Moon is selected as a calibration target since it falls within the array far-field and avoids the positioning error problem encountered by low-Earth orbit (LEO) calibration targets.

Multipath model and suppression in airborne array-InSAR radar tomography

2023
Array-InSAR tomography has become a field of intensive research to reconstruct urban 3D point clouds. However, multipath interference is very obvious in the reconstructed 3D point clouds, seriously affecting the recognition, extraction, and modeling of the building.

Application of array processing techniques to multibaseline InSAR for layover solution

Proceedings of the 2001 IEEE Radar Conference (Cat. No.01CH37200), 2002
Synthetic aperture radar interferometry (InSAR) is a modern technique to derive digital height maps of the land surface from SAR images. In recent years there has been great interest in exploiting the advanced multibaseline operation for solving layover effects that can degrade SAR and InSAR imagery.

Using Multibaseline InSAR to Recover Layovered Terrain Considering Wideband Array Problem

IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2008
This letter deals with the problems of retrieving height and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) reflectivity of layovered terrain using multibaseline SAR interferometry (InSAR). In particular, we focus on the wideband array problem caused by practically large InSAR arrays and high-resolution SAR images, i.e., the problem of signal envelope misalignment ...

Crustal movement imaging by D-InSAR, reflector array, dense GPS, leveling and gravity changes in the plate convergent zone, at the Tokai region, central Japan

IEEE 1999 International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium. IGARSS'99 (Cat. No.99CH36293), 2003
In order to obtain more precise and quantitative crustal deformations, we combine the results of spaceborne differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (D-InSAR), with the dense distribution of continuous Global Positioning System (GPS) observations, precise gravity measurements, and leveling surveys in the Tokai region, where dense and ...
