Pulmonary arteriovenous fistula
A 30-year-old male patient presented with history of haemoptysis associated with cyanosis and clubbing. Chest computed tomography revealed a simple-type pulmonary arteriovenous fistula in the right middle lobe. Operative finding showed a bulging arteriovenous fistula covered with a thin layer of pleura. Right middle lobectomy was performed.

Non-Imaging Acoustical Properties in Monitoring Arteriovenous Hemodialysis Access. a Review [PDF]
The limitations of the gold standard angiography technique in arteriovenous access surveillance have opened a gap for researchers to find the best way to monitor this condition with low-cost, non-invasive and continuous bedside monitoring.

Eph-B4 regulates adaptive venous remodeling to improve arteriovenous fistula patency
Low rates of arteriovenous fistula (AVF) maturation prevent optimal fistula use for hemodialysis; however, the mechanism of venous remodeling in the fistula environment is not well understood.

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)‐C secreted by Pi16+ fibro‐progenitors lays the foundation of lymphatic network in mouse arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs), whereas the elevated phosphate (Pi) in 5/6‐nephrectomy (Nx) mouse activates p‐ERK/p‐SP1/BACE2 pathway to generate additional soluble VEGFR‐3, which causes VEGF‐C unresponsiveness and defective ...

PIEZO Force Sensing in Vascular Biology: An Explosion of New Knowledge, Concepts and Opportunity
Knowledge of the remarkable mechanical force sensing and electrically transducing PIEZO1 and PIEZO2 channels is discussed across vascular biology and its cell types from the embryonic to adult stages in health, disease and old age. How the channels work, relate to other factors and signal for tissue responses to mechanical forces is debated.

Spinal dural arteriovenous fistula
Spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas are a rare and underdiagnosed pathology. Rapid diagnosis and treatment are, however, major determining factors for the outcome of the disease. The spontaneous course of this pathology can result in a substantial degree

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with aortic aneurysms are at elevated risk of rupture, dissection and death during and after transcatheter aortic valve repair (TAVR), often requiring consideration for endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) at the time of TAVR. However, data comparing outcomes of simultaneous versus staged TAVR‐EVAR are limited.
