PIEZO Force Sensing in Vascular Biology: An Explosion of New Knowledge, Concepts and Opportunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Knowledge of the remarkable mechanical force sensing and electrically transducing PIEZO1 and PIEZO2 channels is discussed across vascular biology and its cell types from the embryonic to adult stages in health, disease and old age.
