Clinical features of varicella-zoster virus infection [PDF]
Varicella-zoster virus (VZV) is a pathogenic human herpes virus that causes varicella (chickenpox) as a primary infection, following which it becomes latent in peripheral ganglia.

Introduction Granulocyte colony‐stimulating factor‐associated arteritis is a rare adverse event of granulocyte colony‐stimulating factor, with an incidence of 0.47% among all patients who receive granulocyte colony‐stimulating factor. We herein present a

Audio-vestibular symptoms in systemic autoimmune diseases [PDF]
Immune-mediated inner ear disease can be primary, when the autoimmune response is against the inner ear, or secondary. The latter is characterized by the involvement of the ear in the presence of systemic autoimmune conditions. Sensorineural hearing loss

Potential Vorticity Formulation of Compressible Magnetohydrodynamics [PDF]
Compressible ideal magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) is formulated in terms of the time evolution of potential vorticity and magnetic flux per unit mass using a compact Lie bracket notation. It is demonstrated that this simplifies analytic solution in at least one very important situation relevant to magnetic fusion experiments.

Chemistry in confined spaces: Reactivity of the Zn-MOF-74 channels [PDF]
Using infrared spectroscopy combined with ab initio methods we study reactions of H$_2$O and CO inside the confined spaces of Zn-MOF-74 channels. Our results show that, once the water dissociation reaction H$_2$O$\;\rightarrow\;$OH+H takes place at the metal centers, the addition of 40 Torr of CO at 200 $^{\circ}$C starts the production of formic acid ...

Reversible hypertension and infective arteritis
Background: Idiopathic vasculitides or arteritis have very few or none treatment options. Identification of infective arteritis based on high clinical suspicion opens a window for treatment of such cases . Although these are occasional clinical scenario.

Beyond Linear Fields: the Lie-Taylor Expansion [PDF]
The work extends the linear fields' solution of compressible nonlinear magnetohydrodynamics~(MHD) to the case where the magnetic field depends on superlinear powers of position vector, usually but not always, expressed in Cartesian components. Implications of the resulting Lie-Taylor series expansion for physical applicability of the Dolzhansky ...

Spin signature of nonlocal-correlation binding in metal organic frameworks [PDF]
We develop a proper nonempirical spin-density formalism for the van der Waals density functional (vdW-DF) method. We show that this generalization, termed svdW-DF, is firmly rooted in the single-particle nature of exchange and we test it on a range of spin systems.
