One- and two-stage arthroplasty in the treatment of infectious arthritis: analysis of outcomes
Background. The incidence of primary infectious arthritis (IA) ranges from 5.2 to 12.0 cases per 100.000 population across different countries. The risk of developing sepsis is considerably high, and mortality within the first year after debridement ...

Abstract Acromion fractures are challenging injuries to manage. Nonoperative treatment for nondisplaced fractures can yield satisfactory outcomes for most patients. Displaced acromion fractures can be difficult to manage given the vector of displacement and limited bone for fixation. There is no consensus on surgical approach to these fractures as they

Tensionable Knotless Tendon‐Sparing Biceps Rerouting Technique for Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tears
Abstract This technique describes a tensionable knotless tendon‐sparing biceps rerouting for superior capsular reconstruction using the long head of the biceps in irreparable supraspinatus tears. The long head of the biceps is arthroscopically released from the bicipital groove, rerouted over the greater tuberosity footprint, and secured with 2 self ...

Transtibial Technique for Medial Meniscus Root Repair and Centralization
Abstract Recent evidence suggests that meniscotibial ligament disruption with progressive extrusion often precedes medial meniscus posterior root tears, clarifying the limited efficacy of isolated root repair. Accordingly, combined root repair and centralization yield more favorable biomechanical restoration and clinical outcomes.
