Arthroscopic chondroplasty of the patella
Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic & Related Surgery, 1985Following failure of conservative treatment, arthroscopic chondroplasty was performed on 41 knees in 40 patients with chondromalacia of the patella as the only lesion. Within a follow-up period averaging 40 months, results were excellent in 10%, good in 39%, fair in 44% and poor in 7%.

Arthroscopic Subscapularis Repair
Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, 2014As the largest and most powerful rotator cuff muscle, the subscapularis plays a critical role in proper shoulder function. The diagnosis of subscapularis tears is made based on history and physical examination and confirmed with imaging studies. Historically, subscapularis tears have been addressed in an open fashion. Recent literature has demonstrated

Arthroscopic subscapularis repair
Operative Techniques in Orthopaedics, 2002An all-arthroscopic rotator-cuff repair is a challenging procedure that can be successfully performed for treatment of supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendon tears. Often tears of the subscapularis tendon do not involve the entire tendon and retraction of the torn edge is within 1–2 cm of its attachment site. Occasionally, the entire tendon is torn and

Arthroscopic ankle arthrodesis
The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic & Related Surgery, 1992
There are an estimated 8 to 10 million people worldwide infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The true extent of infection in the population is unknown, and many are unaware of their HIV status. Arthroscopic and arthroscopically assisted surgery is less invasive and bloody than other orthopaedic procedures, and seemingly less hazardous to ...
