Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic & Related Surgery, 1995
Arthroscopic repairs, such as those for shoulder instability, are commonly performed. However, the failure rate after arthroscopic repair appears to be higher than with open surgery. These failures may relate to the challenge of tying secure knots arthroscopically.

Arthroscopic Ankle Arthrodesis
2009The benefits of minimally invasive surgery have received significant attention in the lay press as well as in scientific meetings. Often patients will ask whether such a “minimalistic” approach is available for treatment of their specific problem. While ankle fusion has long been treated via an open approach with generally excellent results,1,2 there ...

Arthroscopic Evaluation of the Knee
2008On the point of writing this short chapter of the book that so many friends would like to dedicate to the memory of Henri Horozowski, I asked myself how such an expert surgeon, as I remember him, would evaluate the use of arthroscopy as a routine surgical procedure for the treatment of hemophilic arthropathy of the knee.

Arthroscopic Suture Management
2013Shoulder arthroscopy is a complex surgery, and its success depends on a wide range of seemingly minute details. Suture management is fundamental because it is easy to find oneself with many sutures in a very small space without being able to ...

Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic & Related Surgery, 1996
The proposed arthroscopic knot tying technique procedure is simple, easy to master, time saving, and the knot formed is not bulky. The initial tie loop holding capacity securely overcomes tension force between structures repaired. The completed know, secured with additional two throw square knot or with a three half-hitches incorporating the post ...
