Arthroscopic Distal Triceps Repair [PDF]
In this note, we describe an arthroscopic repair of a degenerative tear of the triceps using a suture weave and an anatomic footprint anchor. We are able to assess, debride, and anatomically repair the distal triceps to its insertion.

Infection Rates in Arthroscopic Versus Open Rotator Cuff Repair
Background: The prevalence of rotator cuff repair continues to rise, with a noted transition from open to arthroscopic techniques in recent years. One reported advantage of arthroscopic repair is a lower infection rate.

Arthroscopic Repair of Batter’s Shoulder [PDF]
Background: Batter’s shoulder is a condition in which the posterior labrum is typically torn during the baseball swinging motion, producing a traumatic tear and posterior instability. The injury commonly occurs in the batter’s lead shoulder due to repetitive microtrauma, raising concern for switch-hitters due to

Cost Comparison of Open and Arthroscopic Treatment Options for SLAP Tears
Purpose: To identify cost drivers of open biceps tenodesis, arthroscopic biceps tenodesis, and arthroscopic SLAP repair in the setting of isolated SLAP tears and to perform a direct cost comparison between the procedures.

Double-Row Arthroscopic Subscapularis Repair: A Surgical Technique
The subscapularis is the strongest rotator cuff muscle in the shoulder. Until recently, most surgical repairs were performed through an open approach. Furthermore, the reporting of arthroscopic repair techniques and outcomes is fairly limited.

Meniscal repair. An arthroscopic technique [PDF]
Repair of a longitudinal peripheral meniscal tear permits salvage of this structure in a high percentage of cases. In previous reports an arthrotomy was used to accomplish this repair; in this paper an arthroscopic technique is presented. The potential risks are significant and include damage to the peroneal nerve and popliteal vascular structures ...
