Abstract Discoid lateral meniscus (DLM) is a congenital variant of the knee characterized by an abnormally shaped meniscus prone to tearing and instability. When symptomatic, the treatment plan is based on the location and pattern of the tear, as well as the presence of instability.

Arthroscopic Marrow‐Stimulating Procedure for Full‐Thickness Knee Cartilage Lesions
Abstract Articular cartilage defects remain challenging to treat because cartilage is avascular, sparsely cellular and has limited intrinsic healing potential. If left untreated, these lesions may progress to degenerative osteoarthritis, resulting in persistent pain and functional limitation.

Surgical Technique for Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair With All‐Polyester Patch Augmentation
Abstract Rotator cuff repair failure remains a challenging problem, particularly in the setting of poor tendon quality or revision surgery. Patch augmentation has been introduced to reinforce repair constructs and improve healing rates, but many biologic and synthetic materials introduce drawbacks such as inflammatory response, increased bulk, donor ...

Abstract Combining high tibial osteotomy with meniscal posterior root repair is technically challenging because of the limited metaphyseal bone stock, the proximity of the transtibial tunnel to the osteotomy site, and the risk of implant conflict or tibial fracture.

A Transosseous Suture Technique for Rotator Cuff Repair in Patients With Severe Osteoporosis
Abstract Suture anchor‐based repair is widely regarded as the standard technique for rotator cuff tears; however, in patients with severe osteoporosis, anchor pullout remains a major concern. Classical transosseous rotator cuff repair provides favorable biomechanical strength and avoids anchor‐related complications but has several inherent limitations.

Abstract Avulsion fractures of the anterior process of the calcaneus are frequently associated with injury to the bifurcate ligament and may result in persistent lateral midfoot pain and instability. Although open fixation or fragment excision has traditionally been used, these approaches may fail to restore ligamentous function and joint stability ...
