[Rabies in Artibeus lituratus bats in Montes Claros, State of Minas Gerais].
The first isolation of the rabies virus in frugivorous bats of the species Artibeus lituratus in Montes Claros, State of Minas Gerais, is presented. The diagnosis was obtained through the direct immunofluorescence reaction, biological tests and viral profiling.
