Artifacts and Troubleshooting in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring
The types of artifacts that are observed in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (INM) is truly diverse. The removal of artifacts that interfere with the examination is essential.

X-ray micro-tomography systems often suffer from high levels of noise. In particular, severe ring artifacts are common in reconstructed images, caused by defects in the detector, calibration errors, and fluctuations producing streak noise in the raw ...

Examination of microscopic sections of animal tissues reveals facts which are not always related to its normal histology or pathology. Processing of tissue specimens consists of lengthy procedures from the stage of surgical removal to the stained and mounted microscopic sections.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Interaction Diagrams: Development of a Method for Observing Group Interactions
Recording of team meeting’s processes with electronic devices can be problematic because of the invasiveness of the process: issues with privacy; interpretation difficulty with noise or quiet speech; and distortion of participants’ behaviour.

An Investigation of lp-Norm Minimization for the Artifact-Free Inversion of Gravity Data
The l2-norm minimization is a common means for the 3D inversion of gravity data. The unconstrained l2-norm inversion will produce a smooth solution, which contains redundant structures and artifacts. Positivity-constrained l2-norm inversion can eliminate

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an
