Abstract Some of the more important functions and limitations of spectrophotometers in relation to biochemical analyses, are described in nonmathematical terms. Possible sources of errors and artifacts are discussed, together with suggestions for avoiding or minimizing such effects.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
