A method for miRNA-disease association prediction using machine learning decoding of multi-layer heterogeneous graph Transformer encoded representations

open access: yesScientific Reports
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a key class of endogenous non-coding RNAs that play a pivotal role in regulating diseases. Accurately predicting the intricate relationships between miRNAs and diseases carries profound implications for disease diagnosis, treatment,

Mimicking Synaptic Plasticity: Optoionic MoS2 Memory Powered by Biopolymer Hydrogels as a Dynamic Cations Reservoir

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Janus (MoS2) transistors functionalized with sodium alginate (SA) and poly(vinylidene fluoride‐co‐trifluoroethylene) [P(VDF‐TrFE)] exhibit persistent photo‐induced ionic gating, driven by dynamic cation migration at the hybrid interface. This ionic mechanism enables finely tunable photoconductivity and emulates key synaptic plasticity behaviors ...

Additively Manufactured 3D Auxetic Metamaterials for Structurally Guided Capacitive and Resistive Tactile Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D‐architected auxetic metamaterial is used to construct capacitive and resistive tactile sensors via digital light processing‐based additive manufacturing. The inward deformation of the proposed structure under compression amplifies local strain, enhancing sensing performance.

Anti‐Swelling Textile Power Generator with 1D Nanoscale Channel Alignment in Nanofiber/Graphene Hybrid Yarns

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A nanofiber/graphene hybrid yarn with 1D oriented nanoscale channel is constructed via bath electrospinning followed by a functionalization process, yielding exceptional anti‐swelling and weaving abilities. When configured into a waterproof fabric through series‐parallel connection of 62‐cm yarns, an output power of 31.96 µW is achieved, which could ...
