The Interoperability Challenge in DFT Workflows Across Implementations
Interoperability and cross‐validation remain major challenges in the computational materials science. In this work, we introduce a common input/output standard that enables internal translation across multiple workflow managers—AiiDA, PerQueue, Pipeline Pilot, and SimStack—while producing results in a unified schema.

Occupancy rates and nesting success of European storm-petrels breeding inside artificial nest-boxes
We report on occupancy rates and nesting success of European storm-petrels Hydrobates pelagicus breeding in artificial nest-boxes for five years. Plastic nest-boxes were installed inside two natural caves on the island of Benidorm (western Mediterranean),

Parametric Analysis of Spiking Neurons in 16 nm Fin Field‐Effect Transistor Technology
Energy efficient computing has driven a shift toward brain‐inspired neuromorphic hardware. This study explores the design of three distinct silicon neuron topologies implemented in 16 nm fin field‐Effect transistor technology. While the Axon‐Hillock design achieves gigahertz throughput, its functional fragility persists. The Morris–Lecar model captures

Microrobotic Catheterization of the Ophthalmic Artery for Targeted Treatment of Retinoblastoma
A microrobotic platform is presented that allows teleoperated and autonomous navigation of flow‐driven magnetic microcatheters, MagFlow, into the ophthalmic artery for superselective intra‐arterial infusion of chemotherapy to treat retinoblastoma. Extensive benchtop validations with patient‐derived biomimetic phantoms under optical and fluoroscopic ...

Predator‐specific mortality of sage‐grouse nests based on predator DNA on eggshells
Greater sage‐grouse (hereafter sage‐grouse; Centrocercus urophasianus) populations have declined across their range. Increased nest predation as a result of anthropogenic land use is one mechanism proposed to explain these declines.

EFFECTS OF SUPPLEMENTAL DEER FEEDERS ON SURVIVAL OF ARTIFICIAL GROUND NESTS IN SOUTHEASTERN ARKANSAS
: Supplemental feeding of white‐tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus; hereafter, deer) is a popular management tool to alleviate real or perceived nutrient deficiencies and to influence temporal and spatial dynamics of deer distribution during hunting ...

Hallgrimson et al. introduce a machine learning algorithm, siMILe, that takes features of single‐molecule localization microscopy localization clusters (e.g., size and sphericity) and finds the clusters that are associated with certain cell conditions (such as differential protein expression or drug treatment).

Inspired by the multi‐tissue architecture of the human fingertip dermis (A), this work introduces a mixture design using three PolyJet materials (AC/TM/GM) to expand the achievable elastomer property space (B). An inverse design pipeline (i‐Tac) is developed to map target optical/mechanical requirements to optimal material compositions (C), enabling ...
