Artificial Noise Versus Artificial Noise Elimination: Redefining Scaling Laws of Physical Layer Security

open access: yesCoRR
Artificial noise (AN) is a key physical-layer security scheme for wireless communications over multiple-input multiple-output wiretap channels. Recently, artificial noise elimination (ANE) has emerged as a strategy to mitigate the impact of AN on eavesdroppers.

KDAC6 alters cell morphology and motility through positive and negative modulation of F‐actin distribution

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KDAC6 has been associated with cell motility and actin structures, but specific domain contributions are not established. The two catalytic domains have differential effects on motility and F‐actin regulation, affecting cortical F‐actin density, motility, stress fibers, and cell spreading.

On physical‐layer security for primary system in underlay cognitive radio networks

open access: yesIET Networks, 2018
In this study, the authors consider the physical‐layer security for transmission in underlay cognitive radio networks, where consisting of a primary source–destination pair, a secondary transmitter–receiver pair and a common eavesdropper (E). To transmit

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

Optimal Transmission With Artificial Noise in MISOME Wiretap Channels [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2016
We investigate the optimal physical-layer secure transmission with artificial noise in the wiretap channel with $N$ antennas at the transmitter, a single antenna at the receiver, and $M$ antennas at the eavesdropper. We analyze the performance and determine the optimal transmission parameters for two distinct schemes: 1) an on–off ...
