MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Hot‐Film and Calorimetric Methods With Transient Heating for Measurement of High Biofluid Flow Rate
Accurate measurement of biofluid flow rate is vital for clinical diagnostics. We propose a transient heating strategy using short thermal pulses and peak temperature tracking to enhance the flow sensitivity of the hot‐Film and calorimetric methods. Simulations show how optimal heating time maximizes sensitivity across flow rates.

Optimized biomimetic hair sensor arrays for sensing oscillating air flows [PDF]
Artificial hair sensor arrays are bio-inspired from flow-sensitive filiform hairs of the crickets, one of nature’s best in sensing small air flows. The presented hair sensor arrays aim to realize higher sensitivities compared to our previous sensor ...

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Hurst parameter analysis of radio pulsar timing noise [PDF]
We present an analysis of timing residual (noise) of 54 pulsars obtained from 25-m radio telescope at Urumqi Observatory with a time span of 5~8 years, dealing with statistics of the Hurst parameter.

Electromagnetic interferences from plasmas generated in meteoroids impacts
It is shown that the plasma, generated during an impact of a meteoroid with an artificial satellite, can produce electromagnetic radiation below the microwave frequency range.

Pink noise of ionic conductance through single artificial nanopores revisited
We report voltage-clamp measurements through single conical nanopore obtained by chemical etching of a single ion-track in polyimide film. Special attention is paid on the pink noise of the ionic current (i.e. $1/f$ noise) measured with different filling

Differentiating noise and modulators in artificial neural networks [PDF]
Research in Computational Neural Networks is currently taking place at many different levels; from coarse-grain symbolic models to fine-grain representations of neurons and cell processes. One feature that the different approaches share, is that they are all in relative infancy.
