Synergistic Integration of Fe–N4 Single‐Atom Sites and Directionally Aligned Electrode Architecture for High‐Performance Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A directionally ice‐templated sulfur cathode integrated with atomically dispersed Fe–N4 catalytic sites is developed for high‐performance lithium–sulfur batteries. The structure–catalysis synergy accelerates Li+ transport and polysulfide conversion, leading to high sulfur utilization and stable long‐term cycling performance.

Enhanced High Dimensionality and the Information Processing Capacity in Interfered Spin Wave‐Based Reservoir Computing, Achieved With Eight Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Physical reservoir computing (PRC) based on spin wave interference has demonstrated high computational performance, yet room for improvement remains. In this study, we fabricated this concept PRC with eight detectors and evaluated the impact of the number of detectors using a chaotic time series prediction task.

Coexisting mechanisms of thermally driven magnetization reversal in shakti spin ice systems

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
The switching mechanisms in artificial spin ice systems are investigated with focus on shakti and vertex-modified shakti lattices. Minimum energy paths are calculated using the geodesic nudged elastic band method implemented with a micromagnetic ...

Ether‐Based Electrolytes and the Solvation Structure in Sodium Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Ether electrolytes enable high‐performance sodium‐ion batteries through their unique physicochemical properties, particularly distinctive solvation structures and co‐intercalation behavior. However, the localized solvation structure and its dynamic evolution during electrochemical processes remain a “black box”.

Exploiting Ferroelectric and Spintronic Dynamics for Neural Network Computation

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric and spintronic devices, relying on the control of polarization and magnetization, offer intrinsically fast, durable, energy‐efficient, and low‐latency building blocks for analog in‐memory computing. The hysteretic dynamics of an order parameter are leveraged to provide nonvolatile, multistate memory and nonlinear switching. Brain‐inspired

Optimized Wavy Thermal Radiative Analysis of Electrochemically Ternary Hybrid Nanomaterials Affected by an Induced Magnetic Force: An ANN‐Based Levenberg–Marquardt Backpropagation Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This diagram illustrates the wavy flow configuration of the model in a Cartesian coordinate system. It represents the heat and mass transfer characteristics of ternary hybrid nanofluids over a vertically wavy surface in the presence of an induced magnetic field and double‐diffusive mixed convection.

Electrical detection of emergent magnetization dynamics in artificial spin ice

open access: yesAPL Materials
Artificial spin ices (ASIs) consisting of 72 stadium-shaped magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) cells arranged in a honeycomb lattice were fabricated. The magnetization state of each cell was electrically detected using magnetoresistance.

Clock Genes Regulate Ca2+ Signaling and Mitochondrial Bioenergetics to Inhibit Sjögren Disease

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Although Ca2+ signaling and metabolism have been identified as key determinants for the development of Sjögren disease (SjD), the intricate connection between them and salivary gland physiology remains poorly understood. Methods Fluorescence‐based Ca2+ imaging, RNA sequencing, and mitochondrial activity were used to investigate the effects of

Anisotropic interactions induce dynamical spin freezing in artificial colloidal ice

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Artificial colloidal ice is an icelike system used to study the effects of frustration in controlled environments, where all degrees of freedom can be accessed at a length scale large enough for optical visualization and in real time.
