Based on the investigation of the type-specimen of Phacusa sizala Swinhoe, 1894, it is shown that this species belongs to the tribe Artonini Tarmann, 1994 (Lepidoptera, Zygaenidae). A lectotype is designated. The genus Phacusamima Efetov & Tarmann, gen. nov. is described to accommodate Ph. sizala.

The chaetotaxy of the first abdominal segment of the first instar larvae of Artona (Balataea) octomaculata (Bremer, 1861) and A. (B.) gracilis (Walker, 1865) (Zygaenidae, Procridinae, Artonini) is described and figured. For these two species the information is newly recorded.
