On the Origins of Toughness in Corymbia calophylla (Marri Tree) Nuts
Advanced Science, EarlyView.We uncover the natural toughening mechanisms of the marri nut, including fiber pullout, crack deflection, and a viscoelastic matrix, which enable exceptional energy absorption and ductility comparable to Teflon, with an elastic modulus similar to acrylic.

A Laminating Strategy to Manyfold Enhance the Elastic Stretchability of Stretchable Electronics
Advanced Science, EarlyView.We propose a laminating strategy that laminates a thick‐polymer layer onto the thin‐ribbon metallic structure. Using serpentine structures on soft and hard substrates as representative cases, this approach increases elastic stretchability by 3.5‐fold and 2.3‐fold.
