Die zweifache Deprotonierung der C2‐arylierten 1,3‐Imidazoliumsalze mit nBuLi führt zu den sogenannten anionischen Lithiumdicarbenen Li(ADC). Röntgenbeugungsuntersuchungen zeigen, dass Li(ADC) als Lithiumacetylide Li(ACT) vorliegen. Durch die Behandlung von Li(ACT) mit CO2 und N2O lassen sich ADC‐Verbindungen Li[(ADC)(CO2)2] bzw.

Die Verwendung von Ammoniak in Kombination mit Hypochloriten als einfache Oxidationsmittel unter Phasentransferbedingungen ermöglicht die direkte oxidative α‐Aminierung von reaktiven Enolatvorstufen wie cyclischen β‐Ketoestern, Oxindolen sowie Malonitrilen und Malonaten in guten bis exzellenten Ausbeuten.
