Abstract The BookSampo Linked Data portal was deployed in 2011 by the Finnish Public Libraries and has today nearly 2 million annual users. Its Linked Data covers virtually all Finnish fiction literature but the data has not been used for data analyses in Digital Humanities. This paper discusses how the Knowledge Graph can be used for literary research

Simulation Model for Digital Twins of Pneumatic Vacuum Ejectors
A novel concept for modeling and simulating the fluidic behavior of pneumatic vacuum ejectors as key components of vacuum handling systems is proposed. To increase the simulation accuracy, the concept can access instance‐specific data instead of object‐specific data.

Prerequisite Relations Annotation Tool: Annotation and analysis of educational relations in texts
Abstract Relations between terms in texts have long been studied in linguistics and specialized knowledge domains, especially when occurring in educational materials like textbooks, where they play a crucial role in guiding instructional design and learning.

Dynamic Friction Model for the Investigation of Stick‐Slip Oscillations
An efficient dynamic friction model based on the Stribeck curve is presented, which allows to investigate the influencing parameters on the stick‐slip effect through finite element simulations. The simulation of a tribometer test proofs that the model correlates well with the tribometer test results.

Kinetic Control of Threading and Dethreading in Linked Rotaxanes via Hydrogen Bonding
The kinetic control of macrocyclic motions is a key aspect of mechanically interlocked molecules (MIMs). Although hydrogen bonding (H‐bonding) offers a high reversibility and selectivity, the use of neutral H‐bonding to control the macrocyclic mobility remains limited. In this study, the effects of H‐bonding on the threading and dethreading kinetics of

The bulk shear and wall slip of a confined nonpolar lubricant, a complex branched‐hydrocarbon oil, were studied using molecular dynamics simulation. Different temperatures and molecular masses were investigated for a Couette flow. As the number of branches of the liquid molecule increases, the shear stresses and the wall slip increase.
