Comparative study between specular microscopy, pentacam and anterior segment optical coherence tomography in assessment of central corneal thickness [PDF]
Background; Central corneal thickness (CCT) measurements are important for determining intraocular pressure (IOP), examining corneal endothelium activity, and assessing patients before and after refractive surgery . Contact and non-contact techniques can

We present here the first in vivo optical coherence tomography (OCT) images of human dental tissue. A novel dental optical coherence tomography system has been developed. This system incorporates the interferometer sample arm and transverse scanning optics into a handpiece that can be used intraorally to image human dental tissues.

Corneal Perforation Self-Healing with an Iris Plug in the Cornea
Keratitis treatment outcome is usually dependent on the targeted treatment of the cause. We want to present a small corneal ulcer of unidentified origin that progressed into corneal melting and resulted in corneal perforation.

Repeatability and agreement of two anterior segment OCT in myopic patients before implantable collamer lenses implantation [PDF]
AIM: To evaluate the intra-operator repeatability of time domain and swept-source Fourier domain anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT), namely, Visante AS-OCT and Casia SS-1000 OCT, in measuring the preoperative parameters of implantable

Mouse Oct-1 contains a composite homeodomain of human Oct-1 and Oct-2 [PDF]
Members of the Oct family of transcription factors specifically interact with the octamer motif, ATGC-AAAT, a regulatory element important for tissue- and cell-specific transcription as well as for the expression of housekeeping genes. Except for Oct-1, all Oct factors are expressed in a temporally and spatially restricted mode during murine ...
