Rapid spectrophotometric determination of chromium(III)
Talanta, 1994A spectrophotometric procedure is suggested for the determination of Cr(III). The reaction between Cr(III) and 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-dimethylaminophenol is accelerated by sodium dodecyl sulphate(SDS), sodium benzoate causes a further increase in the absorbance of the chelate. The optimum pH range for the reaction is 5-5.8(benzoate buffer).

Photometric determination of palladium with dimethylsulphonazo III
Talanta, 1968A sensitive and selective photometric determination of palladium(II) with dimethylsulphonazo III has been worked out. The effect of many other ions has been investigated.

Spectrophotometric determination of chromium(III) with edta
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1960Summary The spectrophotometric determination of chromium(III) as the chromium(III)-EDTA complex 3 has been critically investigated. The separation of chromium(III) from interfering elements by oxidation to chromate and subsequent reduction is unsatisfactory.

Simultaneous determination of gallium(III) and indium(III) by derivative spectrophotometry
Talanta, 2001A simple, selective and sensitive derivative spectrophotometric method is proposed for the simultaneous determination of gallium(III) and indium(III) in mixtures using 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol in cationic micellar medium, without any prior separation.

Determination of free acid in antimony(III) and bismuth(III) solutions
Talanta, 1966A method for the determination of free acid in antimony(III) and bismuth(III) solutions is given. A solution of the disodium salt of EDTA, 2-3 % in excess of the stoichiometric amount, is added to the metal salt solution and titrated with sodium hydroxide solution potentiometrically or visually using a mixed indicator.

Radiochemical determination of traces of arsenic(III) and antimony(III)
Journal of Radioanalytical Chemistry, 1975Very simple and rapid radiochemical procedures for the determination of traces of arsenic(III) (up to 0.1 μg) and antimony(III) (up to 0.01 μg) have been developed. The method is based on the isotope exchange between labelled metal diethyldithiocarbamate in carbon tetrachloride and an aqueous sample containing the metal to be determined.

Spectrofluorimetric determination of Er (III) with Diantipyrylmethane
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2001The optimum fluorescence conditions for erbium (III) are obtained by irradiating this lanthanide at 435 nm in 0.04 microg ml(-1) diantipyrylmethane solution at pH = 8 (lambdaem = 510 nm). The method proposed is satisfactory for the determination of erbium (III) in the range of 0.001 to 1 microg ml(-1). The relative standard deviation 0.02 microg ml(-1)

III. The Origins of Determinate Information
Terry's Archive Online, 2021This paper continues an argument begun in "Why Quantum Mechanics Makes Sense", which explores the conditions under which a physical world can define and communicate any kind of information. Since it appears that nearly all of what’s known in our most fundamental theories may be needed to do this, the question arises as to how such a complex, many ...

Attitude determination of the Ariel III satellite
Radio and Electronic Engineer, 1967ARIEL III, the third UK/US satellite, was successfully placed into orbit on May 5, 1967, with apogee and perigee approximately 600 km and 500 km, respectively, and inclination 80°. It had been suggested some time before launch that the spin axis direction required for the interpretation of data from some of the experiments could be monitored by ...

The Determination of Antithrombin III
2018SummaryAt III levels were measured with six methods in 36 people: 10 healthy controls, 10 women taking a progestagen Lynestrenol and 16 women taking a combined oestrogen-progestagen contraceptive pill. The reproducibility and the sensitivity of these methods as well as the correlation between methods were studied. The Hensen and Loeliger technique had a ...
