The density and length of root hairs are enhanced in response to cadmium and arsenic by modulating gene expressions involved in fate determination and morphogenesis of root hairs in Arabidopsis

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2016
Root hairs are tubular outgrowths that originate from epidermal cells. Exposure of Arabidopsis to cadmium (Cd) and arsenic [arsenite, As(III)] increases root hair density and length.

Estudo da especiação de arsênio inorgânico e determinação de arsênio total no monitoramento ambiental da qualidade de águas subterrâneas Determination of total as and inorganic arsenic species for the environmental quality monitoring of groundwaters

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2009
This work reports an alternative, fast and robust method, for the determination of total As, As(III) and As(V) by HG-AAS without the use of prereductants.

An Activated Bismuth Layer Formed In Situ on a Solid Bismuth Microelectrode for Electrochemical Sensitive Determination of Ga(III)

open access: yesMembranes, 2022
In this paper, an activated bismuth layer formed in situ on a solid bismuth microelectrode, used as a working electrode for the electrochemical sensitive determination of Ga(III), based on anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) is discussed.

Orbit determination with the two-body integrals: III [PDF]

open access: yesCelestial Mechanics and Dynamical Astronomy, 2015
We present the results of our investigation on the use of the two-body integrals to compute preliminary orbits by linking too short arcs of observations of celestial bodies. This work introduces a significant improvement with respect to the previous papers on the same subject (see Gronchi et al. 2010, 2011).

Spectrophotometric Determination of Cr (III) and Fe (III) by Cephalexin

open access: yes, 2021
Abstract In this work cephalexin and its Cr (III) and Fe (III) metal complexes determination were carried out by spectrophotometric method. The following experimental procedures like effect of pH, effect of metal ion concentration, effect of drug concentration, effect of time and the composition of the complex by mole ratio .In this research work, it ...

Thiocyanatochrome complexes in analytical chemistry: Determination of osmium(III) [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2005
New complex combinations of Os(III) complexed with thiourea and ethyl thiourea, as well as of complex anions of Cr(III) analogues of Reineke’s salt, [Cr(CNS)4(amine)2]-, where the amine is aniline, benzylamine morpholine etc., were synthesized.
