A REPORT ON THE PATHOLOGY OF BAYLISASCARIS-TRANSFUGA (ASCARIDIDAE, NEMATODA) FOR MICE
1994Three groups of mice were inoculated intragastrically with 3 000, 4 000 or 5 000 Baylisascaris transfuga infective eggs. Clinical signs were detected in all infected groups: 7 %, 16 % and 50 % of mice died for verminous pneumonitis within 6 days post-infection, while 2 %, 6 % and 20 % showed nervous disorders after 13 to 67 days of infection.

[A new morphological type of nematode larvae of the family Anisakidae (Ascaridida)].
Parazitologiia, 2005Larvae of anisakid nematodes of a new morphological type from the anadromous mikizha Parasalmo mykiss (Salmonidae) are described. The larvae have 6 sclerotized cogs on the cephalic end of the body. These larvae are referred to the tribe Lappetascarini Rasheed, 1965 as forms with uncertain generic membership.
