Four‐Dimensional Analysis of F‐18 Fluorodeoxyglucose Distribution

open access: yesiRADIOLOGY, EarlyView.
Advanced PET systems permit three‐dimensional analysis of F‐18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) distribution and offer temporal changes of FDG uptake using dynamic whole‐body imaging. This review discusses innovative clinical applications and quantitative techniques for analyzing FDG distribution through 4D FDG PET.

Is It an Intrapericardial Mass or a Localized Pericardial Effusion? A Case Report of Tuberculous Pericarditis Evaluated by Multimodal Imaging

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
Tuberculous pericarditis is a common type of pericarditis, but it is difficult to be diagnosed. The application of combined transesophageal echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, and CT multimodal imaging provides sufficient clinical diagnosis basis and guidance for distinguishing encapsulated pericardial effusion or mass.

Ultrasound‐Based Z Score and Pulmonary Valve/Aortic Valve Diameter Ratio Improving the Predictive Value of Fetal Aortic Stenosis

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
A total of 24 singleton fetuses with suspected AS who underwent two or more fetal echocardiograms were enrolled in this study. Using electronic spatiotemporal image correlation (eSTIC) technology, the AV and PV Z scores, along with the PV/AV ratio, were measured and compared between two echocardiographic examinations to assess diagnostic efficacy ...
