Two new species of ascidae from France and the Netherlands (Acari: Gamasina)
International Journal of Acarology, 2005Abstract Two new species of gamasine mites (Acari: Ascidae), Cheiroseius aldershofae n. sp. and Leioseius sabelisi n. sp., are described and illustrated. Leioseius sabelisi was collected from sandysoil in 't Harde, The Netherlands and C. aldershofae from weeds in an apple orchard in southwest France.

A new genus of the mite subfamily Platyseiinae from Jamaica (Parasitiformes: Ascidae)
Journal of Zoology, 1991Cheiroseiulus reniformis n.gen., n. sp., a platyseiine mite from water pools on epiphytes in Jamaica, is described. The species is characterized by having a markedly hypotrichous opisthonotal chaetotaxy. A key is given to the genera of the Platyseiinae.

ASCIDAE Oudemans, 1905 The presence of Ascidae on Passalidae was recorded only once. Unidentified Ascidae were collected from O. zodiacus (Hunter 1993a; Barrios-Torres and Villegas-Guzmán 2015) (Tables 2, 4 and 8). It is an accidental host.

Description of male ofLasioseius ometes(Oudemans) (Mesostigmata: Ascidae)
International Journal of Acarology, 2003Abstract Male specimens of Lasioseius ometes (Oudemans, 1903) were found on bracket fungus Fomes fomentarius (L. ex Fr.) of trees in Zielonka Experimental Forest in Poland. The previously unknown male of this species is described here.

We describe two new species of Arctoseius, A. sexsetus sp. n. and A. haarlovi sp. n. These descriptions provide additional data on the circumpolar distribution and morphological variation of these species, which were previously presented under the same names by Lindquist (1964) in his unpublished dissertation.

New Genus and Two New Species of Melicharini from Venezuela (Acari: Mesostigmata: Ascidae)
Annals of the Entomological Society of America, 1995Adult males and females of a new genus, Xanthippe gen. nov., and two new species of the tribe Melicharini, family Ascidae, are described. These mites apparently feed on pollen or nectar in inflorescences of a palm, Socratea exorrhiza (Mart.) H. A. Wendl., and possibly have a plioretic association with beetles of the genus Mystrops Erichson (Nitidulidae)
