FgJhd2 Modulates FgMpf2 Expression via H3K4 Demethylation and Influences Sexual Development in Fusarium graminearum

The histone demethylase FgJhd2 regulates sexual reproduction in the fungal pathogen Fusarium graminearum via H3K4me3 demethylation. Mechanistically, FgJhd2 restricts H3K4 methylation to suppress the expression of FgMpf2, an RNA‐binding protein involved in RNA degradation.

Comparative Analysis of Diversification Rates in Clonal and Non‐Clonal Flowering Plants

Using data from 16,465 angiosperm species across 2,997 genera, we classified genera as clonal, mixed, or non‐clonal and estimated diversification using genus‐level phylogeny with DR, MoM, and BAMM. Developmental expression of Ap‐Vas proteins in aphids and flies reveals their evolutionary roles in insects

Duplication of vas genes is universally observed in aphids, and phylogenetic analysis indicates that this event predates the divergence of Aphididae and Phylloxeridae. Ap‐vas1 is germline‐specific, whereas Ap‐vas2–4 exhibit somatic expression, indicating functional divergence during aphid embryogenesis.
