Cancer‐Like Fragmentomic Characteristics of Somatic Variants in Cell‐Free DNA
We report that in non‐cancerous subjects, cell‐free (cfDNA) molecules harboring somatic variants exhibit cancer‐like fragmentomic characteristics associated with clonal hematopoiesis. Importantly, these somatic variant‐associated fragmentomic aberrations are more pronounced in cancer patients. Leveraging such somatic variant‐associated signals in cfDNA,

This study reveals the genetic and molecular mechanisms controlling grain size homeostasis through fine‐tuning OsGRX8 self‐expression by two natural negative feedback loops functioning in redox‐dependent or ‐independent manners and identifies two self‐regulatory haplotypes (SRHs) for the subspecies differentiation in rice.

This study identifies TOPK as a dual‐function target in gastric cancer: it drives tumor cell proliferation and migration, and under IFN‐γ stimulation, phosphorylates eIF4F complex component eIF4A1 to enhance STAT1 mRNA translation, thereby promoting PD‐L1/IDO1‐mediated tumor immunometabolic evasion.

A hyaluronic acid methacrylate (HAMA) hydrogel incorporating DNA tetrahedrons loaded with Asiatic acid (TDN@AA) was developed. HM‐TDN@AA promotes angiogenesis of endothelial cells (ECs), inhibits osteoclastogenesis from bone marrow–derived macrophages (BMDMs), and enhances osteogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) via STAT3‐mediated mitochondrial ...

Collaborative and competitive strategies in the variability and resiliency of large-scale societies in Mesoamerica [PDF]
Examinations of the variation and duration of past large-scale societies have long involved a conceptual struggle between efforts at generalization and the unraveling of specific trajectories. Although historical particulars are critical to understanding
