Asma de esforço ou asma induzida pelo exercício
ABSTRACTThe exercise-induced asthma (EIA), is a syndrome that affect not only the asthmatics patients, recognized clinically as in smaller percentage, the general population. The diagnosis is usually easy, if the doctor will be sensitized for the subtle’s symptoms, that can be present during or after the exercise. The respiratory heat loss as well as ...

Contextuality and Quantum Discord [PDF]
One of the defining differences between classical and quantum systems is how measurements affect them. Here, we compare the approaches of contextuality and quantum discord in capturing quantum correlations in special classes of two-qubit states, demonstrating that although non-discordant states are non-contextual, discordant states are not always ...

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects about 5% of the world's population and generates high health and social costs. Proper management of the disease requires a correct diagnosis, based on objective measures of functional impairment, as well as symptom control and assessment of the future risk of exacerbations.

Non-Abelian statistics with mixed-boundary punctures on the toric code [PDF]
The toric code is a simple and exactly solvable example of topological order realising Abelian anyons. However, it was shown to support non-local lattice defects, namely twists, which exhibit non-Abelian anyonic behaviour [1]. Motivated by this result, we investigated the potential of having non-Abelian statistics from puncture defects on the toric ...

The paper describes the case of a girl with recurrent cough attributable to the so-called Cough Hypersensitivity Syndrome (CHS). The cough was misdiagnosed as drug resistant asthma for long time. CHS should be considered in all cases where recurrent, spasmodic cough, more than wheezing, predominates in the clinical picture.

Optimal controllability for multi-term time-fractional stochastic systems with non-instantaneous impulses [PDF]
In the present paper, we study the existence and optimal controllability of a multi-term time-fractional stochastic system with non-instantaneous impulses. Using semigroup theory, stochastic analysis theory, and Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, we first establish the existence of a mild solution.
