Failure Envelope of Asphalt and Asphaltic Mixture at Low Temperature.
本研究は種々のアスファルトを用い, アスファルトとそのアスファルトを用いたアフスァルト混合物について低温領域において2種の曲げ試験を実施し, これを引張の破壊状態に換算し, 破壊包絡線の形状や位置およびそれらの関係について検討した。実験の結果, 各種アスファルトの低温領域における破壊包絡線の形状は大きく三つのタイプに分類され, アスファルト混合物の破壊包絡線の形状は使用したアスファルトのそれとほぼ同一であり, 針入度には依存しないこと, またアスファルトに添加剤が混合された場合やセミブローンアスファルトに対しても同様の結果が得られることを明らかにした。
