Studi Penggunaan Kapur sebagai Bahan Aditif terhadap Karakteristik Campuran Beton Aspal Lapis Aus (Ac-wc) [PDF]
Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) is the layer indirect contact with the wheels of the vehicle that makes this layer is easy damage. The use of additive in Asphalt Concrete Mixtures as AC-WC has often done to improve the durability.

Mechanical analysis of asphalt mixtures produced with waste plastic modified binders [PDF]
This work compares the viscoelastic properties of an asphalt binder (70/100 pen) modified with different waste plastics and the mechanical properties of the resultant asphalt mixtures. Two different plastic wastes were used, namely recycled HDPE and EVA.

Adhesion of asphalt mixtures [PDF]
Adhesion is defined as the molecular force of attraction in the area of contact between unlike bodies of adhesive materials and substrates that acts to hold the bodies together. In the context of asphalt mixtures, adhesion is used to refer to the amount of energy required to break the adhesive bond between bitumen (bitumen-filler mastic) and aggregates.

Performance of asphalt rubber mixtures
Asphalt rubber mixtures are one of the most promising techniques to extend the service life of asphalt pavement overlays. Asphalt rubber binder is composed of crumb rubber from reclaimed tires and conventional asphalt. The asphalt rubber binder can be obtained through wet process in two different systems: terminal blending (produced at industrial ...

About Coloured Cold Asphaltic Mixtures
The first coloured bitumen was obtained by using bitumen from Peru and then bitumen from the Middle East, with a low content of asphaltenes, also called "colourable" bitumens. The colours obtained by adding iron oxides led nevertheless to dark colours, due to the presence of asphaltenes.

Assessment of Massachusetts asphalt mixtures
This study investigated the environmental impacts of Massachusetts asphalt mixtures, focusing on their global warming potential (GWP) using reported environmental product declarations (EPDs). A life-cycle assessment (LCA) was conducted to evaluate the environmental impact from cradle-to-grave on two types of sustainable and low-carbon asphalt mixtures:
